Destroy All Design’s philosophy is just that – with a bit of mass destruction thrown in for good measure. Destroy everything you know in order to realize what true design is, to realize what you really want and what you really believe in rather than spending your life chasing the dreams the world tries to sell you.
The joystick image, iconic to Destroy’s work, is a symbol of simplified design which serves as a backdrop for self expression. It represents a time when design was simple, a single life control, a symbol for his visual manifesto that can fit into any space across city streets – large, small or as a horde flooding a corner. The image is inescapable in reality – and in mind, once you realize it’s power.
A skilled graffiti artist, Destroy made the transition into street art in the past few years.
His graffiti skill can be seen throughout his work and most recently have manifested through his new lettering pieces.
